You start out in 1954 by saying, "Nigger, nigger, nigger." By 1968 you can't say "nigger" - that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites.
And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me - because obviously sitting around saying, "We want to cut this," is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "Nigger, nigger."
Lee knows what he's talking about. New polls show the ad helped Corker and hurt Ford. Why would that be the case? The answer is simple. In many parts of the South, being a racist doesn't hurt you with voters. Seems like Corker's buddies learned at the feet of the master.

You're just giving lip service - such a low life liar. You're not sorry about anything and probably searched high and low for something you thought would be provoking enough to draw the eye and create a stir of some kind. You think we were all just born yesterday?
And in keeping with your poor reasoning ability, you pulled a really poor example Republican evil to copy and paste.
Tax cuts help EVERYONE. Oh, I know it makes you look like hot stuff to say it only helps wealthy people (The Kerrys? The Kennedys?) and keeps whitey on top. Well, tell you what else, Dumbo, it also keeps more dollars in the pockets of wage earners and consumers, thus putting more money into circulation (that's good for the economy). Okay, we know a good, healthy economy isn't something you liberals don't particularly like because it flies in the face of your political squeaky wheel strategy. It's also especially bad news when the economy booms during a Republican administration, isn't it? What's left to complain about when people are working, well fed and the bills are paid? How do you convince people that are making money, whose taxes are lower, when unemployment is WAY down that we're in terrible trouble!???
Let's whine about stem cell research, gay marriage and oh, oh, oh! I got one, I got one! It's a blast from the past too! Let's try to argue Roe v. Wade again - people get so EMOTIONAL about religion and abortion! The problem with you liberals is you're all potatoes and no meat. All fat and no lean. All fluff (or flubber - I saw isa's picture) and no substance.
