Ok, I'm finding it difficult to breathe, I'm laughing so hard. Hondo thinks that the American Enterprise Institute, the most influential policy think tank of the GOP, the Scaife funded paper mill for conservative shills, is a liberal group. John Yoo writes there. He is a top DOJ lawyer and the writer of legal memos justifying torture and abuses of presidential power. Gary Schmidt writes there. He's the current president of the Project for a New American Century, where dozens of current Bush officials originate from. Newt Fucking Gingrich works there. Hell, Dick Cheney's wife is there. And this slobbering fool Hondo thinks it's liberal. The very heart of the Right Wing Cabal, and he actually thinks it's liberal. And notice how terms like PNAC gently ruffle the hair of the wingnuts as they zoom by inches above their sloped brows and greasy hair.

I have to be honest with you, I am a total news junkie, and I am not bragging when I say that I keep pace with a massive amount of detail about the crimes of the GOP. And it stops me cold sometimes when I'm arguing with imbeciles like Hondo, because I naturally extend to him the benefit of the doubt, that he is as reasonably informed as I am. And I'm sure that many of you also imagine that the wingnuts on PT, well, they must at least have a grasp of the fundamentals, they must have at least a hazy understanding of most of the players and organizations involved, but then something like this comes along and you realize, no, they really don't.

This tears it. I had suspected PT served up an inferior strain of wingnut, but this is incontrovertible proof. There were several wingnuts in the room at the time. Archie, Brute, Hondo, Snsual, and Vic. None of them knew what the AEI was. Several of them didn't know what PNAC was. And Hondo is EVEN NOW trying to convince us that William Kristol had NO connection to the Bush White House, that Kristol is some dangerous radical, and not, as he in fact is, one of the key achitects of Bush foreign policy. I think PT might actually be damaging these people. Somehow exposure to some kind of toxin or virus or radiation has done debilitating chromosomal damage to these people. Do you think we might get sick too? Do I look sick to you? I feel a little feverish. Does this look infected?
