VicFerrariPoliticalGuru: mr bergs an idiot
VicFerrariPoliticalGuru: so is cindy sheehan
Of course, a man who loses his son in Iraq, and a mother grieving for the loss of hers in the same quagmire, both lay the ultimate blame at the feet of the man responsible for lying this nation into a war of aggression he had planned from his first moment in office. George W. Bush is the reason their children died, and his pitiful attempts to avoid looking Cindy in the eye only diminished his stature in the eyes of the American people.
Michael Berg is a much better man than I, much better, I think, than most of us could claim to be. He is able to forgive his son's killer, while recognizing that craven men like Bush start wars without considering the cost, in blood and treasure, because neither he nor most of his administration have any concept of what sacrifice means. The few who had real military experience tried but failed to stop the runaway train.
Do you even doubt that if Cindy Sheehan or Michael Berg were gung-ho in support of Bush and his quagmire, that VicFerrari would call them both heroes and GREAT AMERICANS? That is the general wingnut attitude. They laud anyone who supports Bush, until they change their mind, at which point they become foul, traitorous, avaricious liars, only out for a quick buck and consumed by hatred. Anyone who supports Bush, however, is showered with love and affection. Consider this:
Stung by the ability of one grieving mother to inspire a growing antiwar movement, the White House has found a mom to call its own. An obviously delighted President Bush introduced her to a boisterous invitation-only audience mostly made up of military families in Idaho yesterday -- then sent her out to talk to the press.
"There are few things in life more difficult than seeing a loved one go off to war," Bush said in his speech yesterday.
"And here in Idaho, a mom named Tammy Pruett -- (applause) -- I think she's here -- (laughter) -- knows that feeling six times over. (Applause.) Tammy has four sons serving in Iraq right now with the Idaho National Guard -- Eric, Evan, Greg and Jeff. Last year, her husband Leon and another son, Eren, returned from Iraq, where they helped train Iraqi firefighters in Mosul.
"Tammy says this -- and I want you to hear this -- 'I know that if something happens to one of the boys, they would leave this world doing what they believe, what they think is right for our country. And I guess you couldn't ask for a better way of life than giving it for something that you believe in.' America lives in freedom because of families like the Pruetts. (Applause.)"
Peter Wallsten writes in the Los Angeles Times: "By invoking Tammy Pruett of Pocatello, Idaho, Bush's speech to Idaho National Guard members and Air Force personnel marked the latest effort by the White House to respond to growing antiwar protests being led largely by relatives of fallen troops. . . .
"Pruett, a 46-year-old administrative assistant, was in the audience with her husband, Leon, and received a kiss on the cheek from Bush after the speech. The couple, who were featured this year on CNN, said they received a call about a week ago from the White House requesting their presence at Wednesday's event."
As Dana Bash explained on CNN: "Knowing full well the antiwar movement is gaining attention with the leadership of one military mother, the president introduced the country to another. . . .
"Tammy's husband and one son are just back from Iraq. Four other sons are still serving. The White House invited the Pruetts and choreographed this moment with a family CNN first profiled more than a year ago. The president's goal: show support among military families, appeal to patriotism. . . .
"Setting aside past concerns about privacy or looking too political, the White House led reporters to Tammy Pruett."
"Setting aside past concerns about privacy..." Remember when Bush claimed that he didn't attend soldiers' funerals out of concern for the family's privacy? No problemo now. What, privacy? Who cares! Now, don't you know that if John Kerry, or any other Democrat or liberal, had sought out someone like Tammy Pruett, had paraded her around at public events SPECIFICALLY as a means of deflecting public criticism, they'd have been vilified by Vic. "How dare they," Vic would squeal, "take advantage of genuine feelings! These lefty libs have no shame, they will sink to any depth to advance their agenda!"
Did you ever hear VicFerrari complain about Bush exploiting Tammy Pruett for political gain? We must have been out sick that day, because I never heard it. And do you really believe that if Tammy Pruett ever has a change of heart, and comes to believe that Bush is not a saintly God-King-Who-Walks-Amongst-Us, will Vic spare her the venomous bile he heaps on other Bush opponents? You'd sooner catch Pat Robertson shooting meth in a gas station bathroom while getting sucked off by a 12 year old prostitute than see intellectualy consistency from VicFerrari. Come to think of it, that probably is happening as we speak, and Vic is STILL a vile pusbag.

JC, you're so full of shit its becoming laughable. You're actions are becoming suspiciously obsessive.
How much more disgusting can this Administration become? But then why am I surprised the Administartion cares nothing for the American people in general...now they are singling them out to be used as individuals
