Please do not read if you have a weak stomach. The following may be disturbing in its content, and is provided here only to demonstrate what we're up against in the enemy within our own precious nation. It is a cautionary tale to drive home the fact we can no longer assume all of us possess a soul. This is not an attack on one individual, although it provides a slice of one person's perversity. It is an indictment on the entire fascist neocon movement, and the danger in which it places each and every one of us. Again, while there are no videos or photos in this entry, the descriptive material may be unsettling. With that disclaimer in mind, read on at your own risk.
On July 3rd, the day before Independence Day, claus placed an entry (7/03/06) on this blog entitled "SUPPORT THE TROOPS INDEED!!" It was an expose' of the truly stunning discompassionate lack of respect for human life which is demonstrated to us daily by neocons. In this case, it was S_Link who assumed the mantel of Hitler, Stalin, Bush, et. al. as described by claus in the following:
ALFIE-00 and gogo_12 were talking about their experiences in Vietnam during the conflict there. One of those lunatics I mentioned earlier was calling soldiers baby killers. gogo, who obviously would know, confirmed that often that (and worse) is what soldiers ended up doing in a time of war. Then ALFIE, to provide context, told the room that, very often, death came in the most unlikely form.Sometimes, a child would run up to a caravan calling, "Hey GI, hey GI, wanna buy some flowers?" ALFIE told us that sometimes an unthinking soldier would buy a bunch. "It was only two minutes down the road," said ALFIE, "when it would go off and take out the whole squad. I looked around for some other statement in text that elian and LINK might have been talking about, but there was no other topic where those lines fit. It was unbelievable, but undeniably true: LINK was amused at the thought of American soldiers being blown to pieces.
The same day the preceding entry appeared in the blog, I was in 2 Way Street, with S_Link lurking in the shadows during a discussion of the rape and murder of a 14 year old Iraqi girl, the murder of her family including a 5 year old girl, and the subsequent burning of all the bodies to hide the evidence. American soldiers were charged with the crime and as one might expect, a neocon suggested the entire story was a plot by terrorists who were the actual perpetrators of the crime. Some reasonable (and well informed) discussion participant pointed out there was DNA evidence in the semen discovered in the vagina of the young girl, the inference of this obvious the prosecution had an open and shut case should it prove to be the semen of one or more of the soldiers. Need I say much of anything at all here to impress upon the reader S_Link's attitude about this heinous criminal act against humanity? First he laughs at OUR OWN soldiers being killed and dismembered, and then he makes fun of the dispicable crime of rape and murder and attempt to subvert justice. Can neocons go any lower? I'm afraid the answer to that is YES! Read on!
ohnonotagain placed an entry in this blog this past Wednesday, July 12th called, "HIT THE FLOOR". It's a 3 1/2 minute video showing graphic live action killings as well as still photos of death and destruction. There were several video portions showing the entire killings of insurgents as well as photos of bodies not identifiable because they were so badly mutilated, burned beyond recognition or without heads; there's even a close up one of a head severed with no body to be seen. One video shows an armed terrorist being shot in the back, who drops his weapon harmlessly a few feet away, and after a few more seconds elapse as he sits looking toward the source of the bullets, is shot in the head and killed. His lifeless torso and head then collapse to the ground. I suppose in war it's a minor point that he was helpless and could easily have been taken prisoner instead of having his life snuffed for all time.
It wasn't just terrorist death and destruction in the video. There were depictions of road side bombs and artillery attacks on American tanks, some completely destroyed, torn in half, with the lives inside extinguished forever. That too was part of the video.
ononotagain placed very few words on his entry, just enough to make his thoughts clear on what such horrendous experience was having on American soldiers and Iraqis alike. These are the words of ono.

I don't want ANYONE to tell me his words held anything other than loathing and hatred. His incomprehensibly cavalier attitude about the death and mutilation of combatants on ALL sides of the war is completely and irrevokably reprehensible, akin to nothing I've seen in my lifetime except when viewing newsreels of serial killers and psychopaths. What must reside in his mind and soul? Don't EVEN try to tell me he "might" have been commenting on the horror of war. By now, we all MUST know better than that, even the other incredibly sick and heartless individuals who count themselves amongst S_Link's comrades. This is truly unforgiveable, and completely without possibility of redemption. Not even a lobotomy can help this man folks.
I hadn't seen S_Link for a while, partly because he was trashed so badly for his comments to other entries on this blog, and partly because I've been busy with the Banned room and haven't been in 2 Way much lately. When I have been there, S_Link seldom says much of anything in text and hasn't been on mic. I don't know whether it's coincidence, or whether he realizes I'm there and wants to avoid any damage I might do to him should he raise my ire. Either way, I'd somehow pushed the filth he emotes to the back of my mind. I suppose it was inevitable he'd once again say something so stupidly evil it would once again remind me of all that is unholy in this world today. I don't even know myself exactly how I feel about this. In some ways I feel nothing at all except shock and a dismay so palatable it must be etched now in my face and eyes. I hope it goes away with time.
