Now, stevetrm just spent a good ten minutes blowing Buttlogic out of the water. The actual quote, with opening restored, is as follows:

The full quote has the exact opposite meaning of what Buttlogic was trying to imply. Far from endorsing those actions, Kerry was explicitly arguing against them. Dammit, Brute, this is the fucking Internet! Did you really think we wouldn't be able to prove you wrong faster than your last sexual experience? What would possess you to doctor that quote and try to parade past us like Bugs Bunny in drag? We're not dumb enough to fall in love with you like Elmer Fudd, and we're damn sure not going to accept as fact some bilge you trawled out of Townhall.com. Go try to sell that shit to Bush HQ. We ain't buying.

Kudos go to stevetrm for seeing the lie almost instantaneously and finding the actual quote within 5 minutes. Listen, Buttlogic, I know your side is beginning to panic now that Republicans are actually pleading out and starting to rat out their cronies. But that's no excuse for this kind of sloppiness. The people who paid Armstrong Williams, Maggie Gallagher, and those Iraqi journalists to publish propaganda expect more out of you than this paltry display.
