DING DONG, THE WITCH IS DEAD!

Well, now that Tom DeLay has fled the field in disarray, I wonder what Vic Ferrari is going to crow about? I recall that when DeLay was originally indicted, Vic cackled, "He's not gonna step down, this is all a frame-up by Ronnie Earle!" Then, when DeLay gave up his position as Majority Leader, Vic gibbered, "He'll be back, he's not guilty, DeLay will rise again!"

Well, Vic, what do you have to say now? DeLay is giving up his reelection bid. He sees the writing on the wall. At least 2 of his former staffers have pled guilty, and Tommy boy knows that it's only a matter of time until the hammer falls. I'll bet we'll soon hear Vic screaming, "It's no big deal, it's only a few years in prison..."
