WHEN THE JOKES WRITE THEMSELVES

Maybe this blogging idea is just institutionalizing inefficiency. Wouldn't it save time just to have the wingnuts come up with their own self-mockery, and cut out the middle man? How much added value do we really provide? Allow me to post an example of the kind of streamlining I'm talking about:

Do you see what happened there? Vic's statement means that he only adds 20 IQ points to the room, instead of meaning that his "high" IQ drags up the room average. Like doing a faceplant at the starting gun. This is a serious problem. It's exactly the kind of job encroachment unions were created to fight. If Vic is going to simply write his own material, and thoroughly discredit himself with his own words before we get a chance to go to work with mockery and derision, what does that bode for the future of the hardworking American blogger? If Vic manages to cut out the sarcastic middleman on these deals, how the hell am I going to put food on my family?
