ELECTION NEWS BOMBSHELL

Is it just me or are the 2008 elections going to turn out to be a dirt flinging affair like 2004 was? I mean come on people, are we not tired of this game over and over. The real loss here are the issues that we care about and the answers each canidate brings to the table.
I am going on record here and saying that the left is just as guilty as the right is when it comes to tearing down a person's policital record for their own gain. I think it is time for everyone to stop this shameful way of buying people's votes. I believe that the person with the loudest voice should not win because he has made an ass out of the person seeking the same office as he does.

This year I am going to review each canidate's voting records and research carefully what is said in the sppeches they give. Also, i am advoiding all of the debates because they hold no merit on my final judgement. Oh, one more thing.....it's an open playing field for me this year as I am forgoing the usual party lines just for the sake of staying true to myself. If hell should have to come my way for this decision, then let it rain on me. I also believe that all outside groups should be silenced because they don't bring jackshit to the table. Having said that I now begin my quest to support the canidate who reflects how I feel America could and should be run. May the best man or woman win in 2008 and let's get America back where it should be....#1 in the world.

Personal note to Jay: your honest views on this matter are greatly welcomed.

Until I post again

SPEAKING OF THE NEWS...

...here's a little tidbit to show just how much the current & past administration(s) cares about the troops.

"
Behind the door of Army Spc. Jeremy Duncan's room, part of the wall is torn and hangs in the air, weighted down with black mold. When the wounded combat engineer stands in his shower and looks up, he can see the bathtub on the floor above through a rotted hole. Signs of neglect are everywhere in the building, which was constructed between the world wars: mouse droppings, belly-up cockroaches, stained carpets, cheap mattresses.

This is the world of Building 18, not the kind of place where Duncan expected to recover when he was evacuated to Walter Reed Army Medical Center from Iraq last February with a broken neck and a shredded left ear, nearly dead from blood loss. But the old lodge, just outside the gates of the hospital, has housed hundreds of maimed soldiers recuperating from injuries suffered in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

On the worst days, soldiers say they feel as if they are living a chapter of "Catch-22." The wounded manage other wounded. Soldiers dealing with psychological disorders of their own have been put in charge of others at risk of suicide.

Disengaged clerks, unqualified platoon sergeants and overworked case managers fumble with simple needs: feeding soldiers' families who are close to poverty, replacing a uniform torn off by medics in the desert sand or helping a brain-damaged soldier remember his next appointment.

"We've done our duty. We fought the war. We came home wounded. Fine. But whoever the people are back here who are supposed to give us the easy transition should be doing it," said Marine Sgt. Ryan Groves, 26, an amputee who lived at Walter Reed for 16 months. "We don't know what to do. The people who are supposed to know don't have the answers. It's a nonstop process of stalling."

Telll me again how the troops are getting everything they need, how the troops are being cared for and how much the current & past admin(s) shows(ed) their {cough, cough} 'support' of the troops.

RANDOM SHOTS ON THE NEWS

I hope that what I heard on the news is true, if not it makes for a nice dream.....

I guess the house passed a non-binding bill stating that it is stopped the new surge of soliders from going to Iraq. If this is so, then I guess now the ideal from Washington is that Bush has gone too far with his war on terror. I believe that this is a result of the lack of progress shown. What burns my toast is that many of the same people who held this belife were scorned just a few years ago for taking this stance. My personal belife is that it is too late for this act, the only thing we can do now is to advoid making the same mistake again. There are rumblings that Iran may be next due to a "report" that Iran is supplying weapons to the rebels to be used agaist U.S. soliders. I don't think it's true and the real lack of proof is what I am drawing my conculsion on. If any reader feels that I am in error, please feel free to comment and provide support for your arguement. For the sake of this important matter, I wish to ask that the comments stay on topic.

In other news: the 2008 elections are heating up and on both sides there are alot of canidates for the highest office. I am going on record right now stating that I am not backing any canidate as of yet due to the fact that there are many who I feel could win. I learned a very important lesson from the election of 2004. This race is one that I am keeping a sharp eye on now and in the future for any deleopments.

As far as the scooter libby trail goes, I don't give two fucks about that, it's just a dog and pony show to me to see which side has a bigger dick than the other. Anna Nicole? Fuck her, why are we giving vaulable airtime to a Gold digging druggie who died is beyond me. Tiki Barber retired from football and is now a host on the Today show? Wow, that one blew me away when it was announced. I saw Tiki on Fox News Morning show over the summer and he did a good job. Sean Hannity is still a clueless person to me and Alan Cole needs to be gagged. I think Bill O'reily needs to be reined in because he is about to have a breakdown on his show. Yes, I'm still pissed at him for blasting horror movies durning halloween. I would have loved to be a guest on his show for that and put him in his place.

Well, that's it from the graveyard...See you around.

OPEN LETTER TO ISABELLA

Dear Isabella,
Just stop it, Please stop it. Why are you wasting time trying to "out" people on the blogs? It's not worth the time or effort. People who are in shadows will remain in shadows because that's how they get their kicks. Don't play into their games. The comments I have read in your blogs and on other people's blogs is leading me to believe that you are close to going stir crazy. They are even going after Atilla and others on the blogs and on SIP's blog.

Look, the point is that we are all trying to make a difference in this world and there is nothing we can do to stop those people who want to object to how we do it as it happens on both sides. Sometimes, those people can go overboard but that's the way of the world. It's our job not to sink to their level. Sometimes the high road can be the hard one to walk on. Once we cross the finish line, it's worth it.

Just something to think about,
ZM

CALLING ALL ANONS TO A CHALLENGE

With tax time upon us, I couldn't but help to think of The Federal Reserve Board.

You know, where all the collected income tax money from all U.S. taxpayers goes (wondering?) DIRECTLY to, the Federal Reserve Board (check the back of ANY check sent to the IRS...it is true).

I thought what a better time than now to offer a challenge to Anons, if they dare that is.

Ready for the challenge? Who or/and what is the Federal Reserve? Is F.R. a governmental office or??? Is there a CEO of F.R., if so who is it?

See it's a simple challenge and googling is encouraged. You can choose one or all three questions put before you, your choice. Although, personally I like google, any and all forms of search engine(s) is allowed. Even a trip to your local library might prove to be the ticket. Please cite sources you used to come to your conclusions.

Now will the Anons try their hand(s) at some logical reasoning or offer their witless insults and ignorant tantrums to this thread? Who knows, the Anons might hit this challenge out of the ballpark, only time will tell.

ITS HERE!

http://zombiesgraveyard.blogspot.com/

There it is. My own blog. My own words. This blog will be about movies, wrestling, polictics and my life. This is so I don't take up much room on here. I dare anyone (and I mean anyone) to check it out and leave comments at your own risk.

Don't think i am going to leave this place now. I will post alot of things on both sites. For fairness , I will limit my postings here to policital articles.

See ya!

WE ALSO SPY ON CELEBRITIES

Spying seems to be widely accepted today. Invasion of privacy? doesn't seem to exist. Unless this is a contrived plot for publicity, with the tacit approval of the subjects, I think it's in very bad taste. and probably tastes bad. Why has SLUTTISHNESS become fashionable? Where will it end, with private tapes of Paris, snorting coke and stuffing herself with vibrators, available all over the web. SODOM OR GOMMORAH? OR BOTH?
