Promises Kept

Welcome back to all the brave chatters that dare to read The Rattler, and what a wonderful time to come back. The rules are going to be the same as when our beloved Jesus Claus ran The Rattler, every social room, every chatter is free game, no one is safe from the grasp of The Rattler.

There will be a couple new authors, some of the old timers and as many facetious comments as you can stand. Comments are open to everyone, yes even anonymous commenter's (yes this even means you, Associate Moderate AKA AssMod).

I want to send out my sincerest thanks to jellybean, for giving me that extra push I needed to fulfill my long overdue promise to Mark and keep The Rattler running. Jellybean thank you from the bottom of my heart, I truly owe you one (or two or three lol).

I had promised Jesus Claus that I would continue  The Rattler the very last time I had talk to him (I didn't know at the time I would never hear his voice again) and it's beyond time for me to keep that promise. Mark was one of the funniest, kindest and smartest men paltalk has or ever will know and so now in his memory The Rattler is open for business, let the games begin.

I love you Mark and never will that love dim, remember keep the door open I can't wait to see you again in a better place and time.

LordMercifulVoo; love him or hate him, everyone knows him, right? Before everyone runs to comments to remind me, yes I remember Lord telling me right here on The Ratttler not to discuss him, I'm sure he didn't mean never again if not, oh well sue me. (after all he is an attorney, isn't he?)

I was just trolling some rooms when my heart stopped as I saw LordMercifulVoo text in Paltalk Studio A, Lord's text words put shivers down my spine, I couldn't believe my eyes, had the world gone insane? Tell me I'm not seeing Lord seeking recognition or is it worst, could it be that Lord's pleading for attention?

Won't you help me and voice your opinion if Lord's being egoistical or insecure?

ON JC'S ORWELLIAN POST

JC said in his Orwellian post ..."Country in perilous shape." How do we get the things (people need like healthcare), via government or unity to the people? It's certainly difficult.

In the evenings am working on the "healthcare united campaign," to defeat Bush's submitted plan ~ 196 billion dollar cut to Medicaid and Medicare (Over a 5 year period), and most people that we call seem to not care, or seem to think that "people should just get a job."

It's truly sad the ways we hold one another in misery... the ways we pretty much kill one another. Why in the world shouldn't a sick person be able to access health care, when being sick implies the inability to work?

This bizarre anti-logic feedback loop thinking of republicans ... you should be healthy and work hard, but no health care for you/you should not abort babies/but single mothers should live on 5-something dollars an hour (minimum wage), that many seem to be brainwashed with via their fantasy world tv... sigh.

I'm sure you've all seen this video of TheAssignedMod ranting away about LordMercifulVoo. But I just noticed, along with others in the room, how much clutter and crap is infesting this white trashy basement hideaway. Do you notice all the KISS memorabilia? This guy is obsessed with KISS! There's a poster, several boxes of random KISS crap. KISS is this guy's life. I wonder if he feels any disloyalty to Gene Simmons wearing that AC/DC cap. As itsmejane_1 said:

PALTALK ABUSE OR IS IT BUYER BEWARE?

As many of you may or may not know, certain paltalk personalities have been banned from Paltalk. These people claim that Paltalk reds, in particular Boaz and Gary, get their jollies at trapping people into doing things that can get them banned from the program. If you require futher detail, please go to http://socialissuestruthblog.blogspot.com/ and take a read of what has been occurring the past few weeks on paltalk.

I have been "played" by a certain Paltalk reds as well. I was in Voo's room the other night. Gary just happened to be in the room. He was there for a good hour or so. I asked Gary a simple question, "what are his thoughts on the socialissuestruth blog?" I asked him this question a few times, but received no response. Jesus Claus also asked Gary the same type of question, also receiving no response.

Apparently I was suppressed by Gary after I posted the question again. I say apparently because I didn't know I was suppressed. After I asked the question and received no response, I got busy doing other things on the computer and was only listening to the room audio. I received an IM from Jesus Claus asking if I could text in the room. I didn't know what the hell he was talking about, so I tried to text in the room and was able to do so. I was then told that I had been suppressed by Gary. LOL......sorry Gary, I was not aware you tried to control my text, MY BAD!!

It would appear that Gary and other Paltalk Red admins enjoy their power and like to exercise that power on chatters for their own personal pleasure. On this other blog called "socialissuestruthblog", created by CharlesNewYork, the issue appears to be similar to what occurred to me, paltalk reds abusing their power.

What has shocked me even more than these simple red dots or bans is that Paltalk Redhats can, apparently, view your IMs and listen in on your private room audio. Now for those of us in social issues, this probably is not a big deal, but for those PAID users in the adult playground and Friends, Love and Romance Sections, their IMs and private room audio would be an invasion of privacy, in my opinion. Or how about those users in Business and Finance section, Day Traders/Stocks and Bonds group, Investments group, Small Business group and so forth, what about their privacy rights?

According to paltalk and Privacy, it states " Paltalk is the sole owner of the information collected on Paltalk.com." Furthermore, under the terms of service, paltalk has cleverly written "You hereby agree that your Publishing of such Images or Chat is at your own risk and you waive all rights of any kind whatsoever in law, equity or otherwise worldwide, and all claims that you could possibly ever assert throughout the world against Paltalk Parties (hereinafter defined) arising out of, or relating to your Publication of such Images or Chat." So, it would appear that Paltalk reds can indeed listen in to any private text conversation or audio from a private room. WOW!!! I sure hope everyone who has paid for a subscription know that nothing is PRIVATE on paltalk!!

Interesting what one can find when one is bored and does a little Googling to overcome that boredom. With the various issues and drama that frequent Paltalk, it occurred to me that these people need a forum that would be more effective than bitching about it on a blog.
