It's been a strange couple of days, hasn't it? While we were all celebrating Thanksgiving, the Bush administration has been head-faking and flip-flopping on this troop withdrawal. First, John Murtha is a coward for suggesting we leave Iraq. Then the prez and veep say it's perfectly all right to dissent. I'll bet their internal polling told them calling a 37 year Marine vet a coward wasn't going over well in the flyover states. And now, the Pentagon is publicizing a new plan to draw down troops. Talk about mixed messages. This just shows you how weak and disoriented the Bushies are now that Fitz is crawling around up Rove's ass with a torch and machete.

Congressional Repubs can't be happy that the flipping of Michael Scanlon has brought new suspicion on Bob Ney and Tom DeLay. What's that, Brutie? DeLay's getting off? Yeah, the only thing he'll be getting off is the gray bus at the prison gates. Listen, Tom, you'd better either shank someone the first day or you'll be a bitch by light out. You should be used to it, it's just like being in power, except now it's you who's going to get fucked.
