What a treat in Mainstream tonight! Hondo_1887 has reappeared after an extended absence. Did he join Bush as a bottom and snuggle buddy on his 6-week vacation this year? Perhaps Hondo laced up his boots and joined our combat forces "liberating" Iraqis from their lives. Nah, wingnuts don't fight wars, they just slap yellow stickers on their cars and go shopping for Cheetos and Pepsi.For my money, though, there's a certain rustic charm to the classic wingnuttery of a Hondo_1887. A Buttlogic or ArchieBunker might be on the bleeding edge of wingnut talking point technology, but the old-fashioned, slow-roasted, backwoods charm of the Hondo shit sandwich is like slipping into a frayed but comfy bathrobe and warming your toes by a roaring fire. I got my cocoa, I got marshmallows, I got my rococo Hondo bullshitto. What more do I need?
