NOT IN MY BACKYARD

Whilst some NEOCONS will tell you they don't agree with killing of children in Iraq, one gets the impression that as long as it is not in my backyard, it's acceptable collateral damage.

Witness this little gem from the super duo NellyandLynn

nellyandlynn: Nobody agrees with the Killing of Young Children in Iraq...we DON"T purposely kill the Young Children in Iraq...we Kill the People in Iraq that Hold GUNS in their Hands

It is naive to think that bombs differentiate between who has a gun and who is a harmless child. While they don't actually say it, there is a tacit acceptance of children being killed in Iraq as a consequence of warfare. As they sport a supercilious grin, they hide the fact that they would squeal like stuck pigs if any of there own were accidentally killed in war. As long as they are far removed from the situation, they wear their cloak of immunity to remorse. One child dead is one too many.
