RichardCranial: we all know that libby told cooper about plame also he told miller, and sice he was not charge with disclosing a covert agent, then plame was not covert, and since she was not covert then there was no crime
RichardCranial: all fitz called plame was a classified agent
RichardCranial: and classified is not the same as covert
RichardCranial: did libby tell miller and cooper that she work for the cia?
RichardCranial: but jesus if you know and i know what was fitz waiting for a confession?
RichardCranial: why does he need to squeeze it isn't against the law for cheny to tell libby
RichardCranial: jesus fitz doesn't need libby to confess to the crime to charge him with it in fact libby was under on obligation to go infront of the grand jury at all he could of pleaded the 5th and fitz could of still charge with the crime
RichardCranial: so since fitz didn't charge with a crime then for now there was no crime
This is a pitiful attempt by a pathetic loser scrabbling for a last bit of credibility as his side slides down the drain. These talking points have already been extensively debunked by Think Progress, among others.
Libby knew that Valerie Plame was covert. He repeatedly expressed concern about revealing secret information. He knew that she worked for the Counter Proliferation Division in the Directorate of Operations, which by definition made her a covert agent. The fact that Fitzgerald used the word "classified" and not "covert" is irrelevant. It is a crime to reveal classified information. This idiot is trying to weasel some kind of safety zone for his team, when they are being squashed like cockroaches under foot.
The dimwitted fool simply has to be playing dumb, because how else can you explain his studied ignorance of how prosecutions function? Either this joker has been slamming his head into his keyboard and muttering, "Dirty Harry Reid," all day, or else the vapors from having his head shoved up Rush Limbaugh's ass has given him serious brain damage. Fitzgerald has already explained that it was Libby's obstruction that prevented other charges from being filed. If you read the indictment, you find that there is far too much detailed information included for this to end with Libby alone. Fitz is clearly getting ready to squeeze both Libby and Rove with what he knows, in hopes of snaring bigger game: Cheney or Bush. If he can establish "Mens Rea", or "guilty mind," with Libby's testimony, he will be able to charge for conspiracy and espionage.
There is just no way that RichardCranial doesn't understand this. At least, I hope for his sake that he is not as dumb as he pretends to be. I think his doctors may have made a mistake letting him wander around unattended.
