Nah! It's John Howard, hungry for votes. There is a political party called "Families First" that is a right wing christian party. Yes, godiots. They have the same clout (influence) as the nutcase christians in USA. Howards failed anti porn spend up was designed to garner the godiots votes.

Oh, and ONO, in regard to the families first thing, although not a political party, don't forget those dangerous bastards the Exlusive Bretheren in Australia who have actually met with John Howard.Apparently they have donated considerable money to John Howards campaign funds. They are extreme right. Here is an extract from their website outlining their views on government:

"Testimony To Government
Exclusive Brethren believe in Government and are subject to it as outlined by Paul in Romans 13:1. They do not live in countries that do not have a Christian Government. Their approach is non-political. They do not vote , but hold Government in the highest respect as God's ministers , used by Him to restrain evil and provide conditions for the promotion of the glad tidings. Exclusive Brethren hold formal prayer meetings every week and include prayers for the support and guidance of right Government which is clearly of God , and also for divine resistance to the devil's efforts to influence it. Contact with members of parliament or congress is encouraged to express a moral viewpoint of legislation in relation to the rights of God and this ongoing communication is found to be acceptable and productive."

Ono
A 16 years old school hacker broke through Howard's 80 millions firewall in less than 4 hours! hehe
The web is just about impossible to censor.
However they can if they wish impose heavy fines on internet providers and force them to filter stuff to a greater degree which could end up to be really annoying for the average user.
Worse comes to worse it will all go underground.
A sub Net already exist and its massive, very few get to go there as you got to have the right credentials.
Hang around warez sites and blogs for starters and wait till some doors open...
