Via firedoglake, Ariana Huffington writes that the Democrats in Congress are circulating a letter to demand that Bush promise not to interfere with the Plame investigation, and to take the possibility of a presidential pardon for Scooter and others off the table. This is a terrific tactical move for the Dems, and hopefully they can find a way to keep the pressure on Bush in the media to sign such a letter. At the very least, as Jane says, the Dems running for Congress need to use this to slam their opponents throughout the campaign next year.

This sounds like one of Vic's silly PT bets. "Hey, Bushie, if you promise not to pardon Scooter, and then you break your word, you have to leave PalTalk forever." Speaking of which, ever since Fitzmas, Vic has been sulking in his own room instead of standing up in Mainstream. Typical repuke coward.
