THE BIG LETTER VIRUS

Someone around here seems to be infected with the Big Letter Virus, which has been identified by the Australian scientific community as a mutation of DIMWIT -- Dozens of IMs With Incoherent Treatise. It's more infectious than STUPID, the virus that infects neocons, and is known to transform its victims into Billarys -- insufferable, anal retentive spoilers. Billarys are known to have frequent temper tantrums, and have an insatiable desire to be the center of attention. This leads them to use extrodinarily large font and the dreaded red ink. The virus was formerly confined to the Australian internets but, recently, the CDC (Center for Diseased Chatters) has detected the virus in international chat rooms and blogs. They have developed a prevention plan whereby individual chatters can avoid infection. The public is advised to put Billarys on ignore whenever they enter a chat room, and to refrain from reading any big letter blogs.

Yet another blog from Carmen that only she could make any sense of.
If large font is appreciated by the visually impaired among us it is not a problem for this blogger to oblige.

Clearly you have a problem with large font if you have interpreted anything I have had to say as supporting Hillary Clinton.

Concerning the satire, Centers should be pluralized.

wfg, there's only one Center for cyberspace. It's controlled by Al Gore whom, as we all know, invented the internet. :)

brilliant!

I think they should just call it Center. I don't see the point. Yes, their are probably multiple complexes, and some may be on separate grounds, but, really, don't people already assume multitude diseases are being addressed anyway? And saying diseases in the title makes one curious if diseases is possesive.

The Center for Disease Control. It might not be grammatical, but it's good enough.

It's the Center for Dis-eased Chatters. NOT the Center for Diseases.

"Yes, (their) are probably multiple complexes, and some may be on separate grounds"

Perhaps the word is "there"; as if it matters!

Such hypocracy; but, then again, it is Pal Talk!

No, I was talking about the actual CDC then, which is the Centers for Disease Control, but I digress on that. You're right about "there" vs. "their." Oh, and it's hypocrisy, unless that was ironic humor.
