TIME FOR A REALITY CHECK

It is time to take heads out of those dark places. Hillary Clinton has much to answer for in smashing her party against the rocks in this election, but she cannot be blamed for the festering racism we see oozing form the pores of your citizens regarding Pastor Wright's comments, and the truckload of puerile nonsense about Barack Obama being a Muslim, and himself a racist.

How typical it is of Americans to want to blame ONE single person for the wrongs of many. I have no affection for George Bush Jr., however, not even he should take the FULL blame for the pathetic state of your nation today. The majority of the blame stays with the people. 100's of 1,000,000's of Americans adored George Bush in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 10's of millions still think he is the best President ever in 2008.

In 2001 Americans supported bombing the crap out of Kabul, which killed approximately 3800 innocent civilians. They willingly offered their sons and daughters in a proud sacrifice, screaming '
hit us we'll hit you back' without a bloody clue who actually hit you or why. And again in 2003, ignoring the numerous voices, including Barack Obama's, who said the invasion of Iraq was wrong, your elected representatives in Congress gave Bush the green light, with barely a murmur of protest from the people.

America always needs SOMEONE to blame, and any sacrificial lamb will do. It is so much easier to shift blame than have to face unpleasant truths.

Certainly Hillary Clinton tried to capitalize on the fact that America is and always has been a country divided into many sections. Deluding themselves that they have been the UNITED States of America. Give Hillary Clinton the beating she deserves for her actions, but to imply that she is responsible for the racial division that exists in the USA, which was for many hidden under the surface and denied until this election forced them into the open, is utter nonsense. As one blogger (Carmen) said even her work mates whom she believed were not racist are breaking into camps. You are either with them, (against the black man) or you are against them.

oh dear katie, you do know how to stop people in their tracks. I see this blog is too much for our American friends to tackle, and like Pastor Wright you have spoken indisputable truths.
